Vital Motion Will Hold 2nd Annual Charity Car Wash

Kitchener, Ontario

Founded in the spring 2003, Vital Motion is a non-profit Southern-Ontario based car enthusiasts club and website that caters to automotive tuners of all makes and models. Vital Motion is for those that are looking to modify their cars. Some do it for increased performance while others modify their cars simply for that unique look.

Vital Motion wishes to establish a good relationship with the surrounding community and law enforcement officials. The members of Vital Motion are against street racing and encourage all drivers to keep racing off the streets. Vital Motion organizes track days so members can take their car to a licensed track and race their cars safely and in a controlled environment.

On June 12th of 2004, Vital Motion held the first annual charity car wash at Cambridge Centre Mall in Cambridge. This event was a big success! Vital Motion raised over $1200 from washing hundreds of cars. The proceeds were then given to the family of Yama Ayoubi, an innocent bystander who was a killed in a street racing accident in March of 2004. Even though there were no members of Vital Motion associated with any of these street racing incidents, the members of Vital Motion feel as if they could help prevent future street racing activities.

Vital Motion is pleased to announce that another charity car wash will be held this year. Vital Motion has teamed up with Home Depot and together will try to raise more money than last year’s event. The charity car wash will be held in the Home Depot parking lot at 100 Gateway Park Drive in Kitchener on Saturday, June 4th, 2005. All proceeds will be donated to St Lucia Support Group.

The car wash will consist of a show and shine of Vital Motion members’ cars, raffles, and the sales of Vital Motion stickers and t-shirts. As of right now, Vital Motion is looking for possible companies that could help sponsor the event and possibly make any donations to assist in the event. The event will last for most of the day and we will be advertising it in a large number of different forms of media. Already there is a great enthusiasm coming from the members of Vital Motion that wish to donate their time for such a great cause and make this year’s charity car wash better than last year’s.
